- If you liked Eye in the Sky or Compadres as a sneaky bonus play, this doesn't bode well. EitS is a big loser this week and Compadres, not surprisingly, is not seeing any expansion.
- Criminal & Greek far and away the two biggest losers this week.
- Despite fewer locations, Keanu getting more showings than Mother's Day. Looks like theaters are at least making a small bet on Keanu.
- Huntsman hanging on to a lot of showings despite a poor first weekend. Either theaters really do not believe in the new stuff, or maybe Huntsman is set up for an ok hold.
- Green Room doesn't look like it's getting the Ex Machina level expansion, holding fewer locations than Hologram for the King (already confirmed at about 525 locations).

YAAAAASSSS!Apr 28, 2016, 1:13pm PDT
A lot of us saw that coming with Criminal and Greek. Thanks for all the work put into this. Not only is it very much appreciated, it's also super cool that we collectively have a strong grasp on things in advance.Apr 28, 2016, 1:16pm PDT
This does give me some hope on Keanu. Though yeah certainly looks like Jungle Book is probably a safer bet to hold strongly.
Good showing from Ratchet and Clank actually especially in those 3D showings, but I'm still holding strong to my #NeverRatchet sentimentsApr 28, 2016, 1:24pm PDT
Interesting to see the different patterns between theatre drops and showings drops, confirms what M37 was talking about early in the week. Losing lots of showings, but not that many theatres.
Movie / Loss of theatres % / Loss of Showings %
BS3 / 8% / 26%
The Boss / 18% / 23%
BvS / 14% / 28%
Criminal / 20% / 48%
MBFGW2 / 40% /46%
Eye / 25% / 31%Apr 28, 2016, 1:38pm PDT
I'm sticking with my BvS BP lineup. LETS GO!Apr 28, 2016, 1:44pm PDT
This is awesome, thanks for all the hard work putting this together!Apr 28, 2016, 1:45pm PDT
I just couldn't help myself, but I also couldn't limit myself to text only. Take a read if you get a chance:
Synopsis: Does extrapolating $/show data tell us something about returning films? If it does, "Criminal" might be a surprise this week.
I'm not convinced I'm right either, so please chime in on how to make this better either here or in the comments over on my blog.Apr 28, 2016, 8:04pm PDT
Nerd, love the article! Any chance you can make it so that showtimes.fmlnerd.com gives me the latest update?Apr 28, 2016, 9:16pm PDT
@Ari - Do you mean the index page has links to the individual weekly tables? If so, I can work on that. The whole thing is still a work in progress. My automations failed today and I had to manually run/upload them but I can create a comprehensive index page as I fix what broke earlier. Let me know if you meant something else.Apr 28, 2016, 9:48pm PDT
